Explore Langtang Helambu Trek: 17-day Nepal trip to Gosainkunda Lakes (4,380m), Laurebinayak Pass (4,610m), Kyanjin Gompa, yak cheese & Sherpa monasteries- Teahouse trek from Kathmandu: rhododendron forests, views of Langtang Lirung, and immersive Nepalese culture to inspire a sense of discovery and connection.
Glaciers in Langtang Valley, sacred lakes at Gosaikunda, and ancient Sherpa monasteries of the Helambu Region all on one 17-day teahouse adventure without the crowds. Begin at the Syabrubesi trailhead in Kathmandu, trek through Tamang villages to Kyanjin Gompa (3,830m) for fresh yak cheese and Langtang Lirung (7,227m) panoramas from Kyangjin Ri (4,350m).
If you wish to take the detour, walk to Shiva's sacred Gosainkunda Lakes (4,380m), a Hindu/Buddhist pilgrimage site formed by Shiva's divine trident. Cross Laurebinayak Pass (4,610m), the trek's highest point, with views of Manaslu/Ganesh. Hike through rhododendron forests to Tarkeghyang's oldest monasteries and Jugal Himal views from Shermathang.
This moderate-level trek is also ideally suited for beginners - no technical gear necessary, just comfortable teahouse sleep-ins all night long (and no need for camping). The ideal time for the Langtang Helambu Trek is during spring (March - May), when rhododendrons bloom in shades of pink and red, or autumn (September-November), with perfect blue skies and unadulterated Himalayan vistas. The price of the Langtang Helambu Trek 2025 is $1,400-$1,820 per person, and for groups of four or more, it can range between $1,400-$1,820 per person (Prices in USD on a Single-Person basis).
